Nectarines
Nectarines are an excellent source of flavonoids which keep blood clots at bay.
They are also full of carotenes and potassium which reduce blood cholesterol, protect the heart and prevent cancer.
They are also high in lutein and lycopene. Lutein is the property that provides the orange, yellow and red colours in fruits and vegetables. Lutein and lycopene are essential in keeping heart disease, cancer and macular degeneration (which can lead to blindness) at bay.
Nectarines are also great for good eyesight, smooth skin and an effective immune system.
