What is Weaning?
Weaning is the introduction of solids to your baby alongside milk feeds.
Many babies are initially introduced to pureed, mashed or minced foods which needs chewing.
You can carry on breast or bottle-feeding your baby after they have started on solids given that it’s okay for you and baby, and you have cleared the situation with your GP.
