Reviving the African diet

Many of the modern diseases plaguing Africa, not to mention people of African origin spread throughout the world, could be averted by reviving traditional African diet.

The diabetes epidemic, which is sweeping Africa, could be curbed by ignoring western food and choosing a more traditional diet. Other diseases such as high blood pressure and hypertension could also benefit from a general shift towards a diet rooted in the past.

A traditional African diet can help people to lose weight and keep cholesterol stable. People also live healthier and longer, and a traditional diet can help to prevent or treat disease.
