A diet pill containing an NHS anti-obesity drug has sold out only three days after going on sale.
When the drug went on sale in early June, 50,000 plus packs of Capsiplex flew off the shelves.
Its namesake British pharmaecutical company uses ingredients in Capsiplex in the past purely available on the NHS.
It includes the clinically-tested and proven Methylcellulose, which G.P.s prescribe to 10,000 plus dieters annually.
Capsiplex is said to to increase metabolism, burning calories 12 times faster than normal.
It sold out of 50,000 packs at shops like Selfridges, Harrods and Lloyds Pharmacy, ensuring the company has to order more stock to meet demand.
A Capsiplex spokeperson said: "Demand has been staggering with pre-launch orders and subsequent sales far greater than we could have ever expected. It is a discreet tablet which enables you to effortlessly lose weight without inhibiting your lifestyle."
