Amy’s diet ensures she maintains a healthy body and mind.

Amy Smart follows a vegetarian diet. She is not strict with herself, nonetheless she eats moderately. She says that vegetarianism is a conscious way of living on this planet.

She states that you should not go too hard on yourself to be fit and well in mind, body and spirit. She is the first one to admit that she loves pizza and cannot resist pasta. However, she suggests that eating moderately and drinking lots of water is very important for a healthy diet.


Having trained as a dancer, Amy tones herself with Cardio Barre, a gentle ballet cum barre class. She is also a kundalini yoga practitioner, which combines mantra from the Sikh scripture, the Guru Granth, breathing exercises, meditation and movement. Kundalini yoga is designed to enable you to experience your highest consciousness through the raising of your Kundalini.

Amy’s Tips

Amy recommends being on the move to ensure weight loss and maintenance of a healthy weight. Her trick is to be active, burning up the calories as well as releasing tension and keeping healthy. So Amy makes sure she does her cardio barre and practises kundalini yoga at least once a week.

In order to keep her mind healthy, Amy starts her day with meditation.
