Ashlee Simpson is known as an actress and singer in her own right. She is the younger sister of celebrity Jessica Simpson.
The sisters were brought up in Texas and started to take ballet lessons from the age of three.
When she was just eleven, Ashlee Simpson became the youngest student to be accepted for a summer school at New York’s famous School of American Ballet.
Since then she has gone on to have considerable success.
Ashlee adheres to her own form of the South Beach Diet. So, she eats what she wishes to, but in moderation.
She was the cover girl for Shape Magazine in 2008, much to her own reported amazement.
Ashlee does Pilates to remain lean and toned. Since 2008 she has also been working out with Mike Alexander, the trainer who worked with Jessica Simpson for her Daisy Dukes part in the film version of “Dukes of Hazard”.
As you can imagine, her exercise regime is pretty rigorous. She goes on the treadmill and the cross trainer, as well as lifting 5-7 pound dumbbells.
She does the treadmill and cross trainer for increasing fitness levels and for her cardio-vascular wellbeing. She uses the weights to ensure her arms are toned.
