Charlize Theron, the leading lady of the 2008 hit film “Hancock”, is a beautiful as well as powerful woman. She has often been compared to Marilyn Monroe.

Charlize Theron has got a great body and beautiful face as well as being a great actress, and to some extent this is down to her celebrity diet.

Celebrity Diet

When Charlize was young she did not like to look sexual. Therefore, she practically did not use cosmetics or wear short skirts. Nowadays, she pays a great deal of attention to her figure, style, hair and skin. She also has some diet tips for us all.

Charlize’s diet consists of lots of fruit and veg to ensure that she gets the optimal vitamin and mineral benefits. However, she still eats what she likes on top of that. She even loves to eat red meat for, believe or not, breakfast! She is known to eat steak and eggs for breakfast.

  • Breakfast: 2 pieces of bread, bran, lettuce, tomato and 50g tuna.
  • Lunch: 1 toast, 1 fish cutlet, a table spoon of tomato sauce, green salad, lemon juice, and fresh fruit: 2 small apples, 1 pear, 2 plums or banana.
  • Dinner: 250 g of roast chicken, green beans, roasted tomatoes, 50g mushrooms boiled in a tiny amount of chicken broth, green vegetable salad, lemon juice, a yoghurt, 75g of low-fat shallow fried meat with sauce, 125 jacket potato, cabbage and celery salad and fresh fruit.
  • Alcohol: 1 glass of dry wine.

Weight loss tips

Recently Charlize wished to lose weight quickly so she reduced her alcohol, carbohydrate intake as well as the amount she ate at dinner. This had astonishing results as Charlize Theron lost a stone over just one month.

She did not however enjoy her experience and she states that she prefers to be her normal size. She did not have fun losing weight quickly as she says something weird happens to your body; you do not feel as strong.

Charlize Theron has a healthy approach to food like most South Africans. She affirms that she could live off crisps! She also loves to eat pizza, meat and cheese. Nonetheless, she tries to find a balance between what is tasty and what constitutes a healthy diet.

Exercise

The actress combines an exercise and diet programme which maintains her shape. She is a highly active person and likes to constantly be on the move.




She is a great fan of outdoor exercise; her favourite activities being kayaking, cycling and walking. She also loves running, yoga and doing ballet. The fact that she still loves exercise and dance helps her stay in shape. Charlize Theron is proof that regular exercise really does have a positive effect on weight.

She is a size 10 on the whole, maintaining gentle gym work on a frequent basis and doing pilates regularly.
