Diet used to fight cancer

According to a recent study, the risk of developing cancer could be slashed by as much as 40 per cent. The researchers highlight the keys to cutting cancer risk as eating diets rich in fruit and vegetables, and taking more exercise .
The reports came from the World Cancer Research Fund, and back up many other reports that link diet to cancer. The report will be published this week, and will urge British people to alter their lifestyle, issuing a stiff warning that obesity has to be tackled to reduce cancer rates.
The study was entitled Food, Nutrition, Physical Activity and Prevention of Cancer . It reviewed over 7,000 studies and showed that regular exercise combined with a fruit and vegetable rich diet could help cut cancer risk.
