Healthy Oils in Nuts and Avacado Helps Those Who Diet

A recent study has found that the healthy oils found in nuts and avacados help reduce appetite and thus assist those who diet .
A fat made of nuts, avacoados and olive oil helps you to lose weight naturally.
Oleic acid is the anti-snacking fat which causes a bodily reaction which delays hunger pangs. It triggers an area of the brain which increases the feeling of fullness.
This new scientific discovery that oleic acid reduces food consumption could mean the development of new anti- obesity drugs .

That could be why a Mediterranean diet with its high levels of unsaturated fat as found in nuts, avocados, seeds and olive oil is beneficial for us.
This research was undertaken by U.S.A based scientists and then published in a well known journal called Cell Metabolism .
Only oleic acid regulates eating in this way. The scientists consider that trans fats (hard fats converted from liquid oil by chemical process) and saturated fats found in processed food do not function in the same way. They are likely to cause obesity and overeating .
