Cancer diet could be genuine

According to diet news, the most recent diet craze that promises weight loss and prevention of diseases such as heart disease, alzheimer’s and even cancer could be genuine. The anti-inflammatory diet stipulates that health conditions are often caused by chronic inflammation due to a hyperactive immune system .
Foods that calm the immune system, such as oily fish, nuts and brightly coloured fruit could help many to avoid health conditions and popular illnesses. A team at the university of Southampton led by Professor Philip Calder examined all of the evidence.
Calder reportedly commented: “What seems to happen is that these nutrients dampen the production of the chemicals that trigger inflammatory processes.”
