As the Christmas party season approaches, 60 per cent of women will start a diet regime to get their body in shape in order to get into their glitzy outfits.

A further 17 per cent stated that they have often returned to their pre-diet size once the New Year has been seen in.
Most women (62 per cent) diet in the run-up to Christmas, while 56 per cent state they want to lose weight anyway and think Christmas is a great target to aim for.
