115 miners lasted an entire week living off a diet of sawdust.
The miners were rescued from a flooded coal shaft in China after having been trapped there for more than a week.
Some of the miners had used their belts to strap themselves to the walls of the mine in order to avoid being plunged into the water when they fell asleep.
They said that they had managed to stay alive by eating sawdust, the pine wood that was being used for the construction of mines and drinking the murky water .
The miners were also all determined to stay alive.
Their rescue is considered to be nothing short of a miracle, one of the most amazing rescues in mining history.
The mine had flooded nine days ago.
38 miners remain missing.
