Pregnant Mums Advised Against Drinking Diet Soft Drinks

A study of premature birth has discovered that pregnant women ought to avoid diet soft drinks which have been artificially sweetened.

The study found that drinking diet soft drinks led to premature births amongst pregnant women.

Research undertaken of approximately 60,000 pregnant women in Denmark uncovered that drinking artificially sweetened soft drinks led to giving birth early.
Just drinking one serving a day of artificially sweetened fizzy drink led to a 38 per cent greater likelihood of giving birth before 37 weeks gestation.
In addition, those who drank four servings a day were 78 per cent more likely to give birth prematurely.
