Chocolate Said to be Good for You

New research confirms that chocolate is good for your diet .
This latest rearch claims that a moderate amount of dark chocolate can considerably lower blood pressure in those who suffer from hypertension .
Dr Karin Ried led a team at the University of Adelaide to combine results from fifteen studies. She concluded that eating chocolate can have the same effect as half an hour’s exercise .
The research findings suggest a snack of chocolate, with high cocoa content, can lower the likelihood of a heart attack by up to a fifth.
The conclusions need to be interpreted cautiously as a moderate amount of dark chocolate is fine for those who already have high blood pressure. However, it is not fine for those with normal blood pressure.
The results also mean we should not get carried away; they do not provide an excuse to scoff as much dark chocolate as possible.
