Jennifer Hudson is on the cover of the American magazine, Self.
She lost a dramatic 80 lbs on a Weight Watchers diet which is over five and a half stones.
In an interview with Self magazine, Hudson stated that she is prouder of her weight loss than her Oscar. Hudson has not only dieted; she has also undertaken an exercise regime which initially began with a 30 minute daily walk after giving birth to her son David two years ago.
She decided that walking was better than doing nothing and being stationary. She would place David in his pushchair and push him around the block.
The walking then led to a more vigourous exercise regime.
The singer claims that her new diet plan shattered her “diet mentality”.
She asserts that she then realised that she can eat anything, yet it is about balance and portions.
