The Alzheimer’s Research Trust confirmed that diet and lifestyle are crucial factors used when assessing the risks of this disease.
Lead researcher, Dr Ed Okello, based at the university’s School of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, stated that upon digestion of green tea the resultant chemicals are more effective against the main triggers for development of Alzheimer’s disease.
