Ashton Kutcher hospitalised following fruitarian diet

Ashton Kutcher has undergone health problems after going on the fruit-only diet for his acting role as Steve Jobs in a new film.
The celebrity – who plays the late entrepreneur in the forthcoming biopic jOBS – revealed at the premiere of the movie on Friday (January 25th) that he had to be admitted to hospital with pancreas problems after only living off a diet of fruit, seeds and nuts.
Kutcher told USA Today he required medical treatment two days before shooting for the film began, because he was doubling over in pain.
He added: “My pancreas levels were completely out of whack. It was really terrifying … considering everything.”
Jobs – who was the co-founder, chief executive officer and chairman of Apple – was frequently reported to be a fruitarian and died of pancreatic cancer last October.
Kutcher also disclosed he has been working hard studying tapes of Jobs’ in order to adequately mimic his hunched posture and mannerisms and said he feels he can relate to the life of the businessman, because of his “ravenous interest in the tech space”.
