Jim Carrey admits movie diet was a struggle

Jim Carrey has revealed he struggled to maintain the strict dieting regime he was forced to undergo for his role in an upcoming film.
The actor is able to show off his six-pack and muscles in The Incredible Burt Wonderstone – which comes out later this month – but he said now filming is over he is pleased to be able to eat what we wants once again.
Carrey admitted to People magazine dieting did not make him happy and it is not natural to live in that kind of shape, adding: “It looks great. It’s fantastic and gets a lot of attention, but you have to eat, like, antimatter to stay in that kind of shape.”
He implied getting shirtless – as he does in his latest film – will not become a regular occurrence and joked that job was up to fellow actor Matthew McConaughey.
The star is not the only one to have changed his dieting habits for a movie role and Hugh Jackman recently claimed he lived off water for 36 hours to prepare for Les Miserables.
