Our Organic Whey Protein comes from the milk produced by grass fed cows with the freedom to roam outdoors on grass pastures all year round in the Schleswig-Holstein region of Northern Germany. Thanks to the close working relationship we have with our farmers and cheese makers we’re able to trace every batch of Organic Whey Protein right to the source.
Organic whey is the only ingredient we use, so there is not any soy and no sweeteners or flavourings and it’s completely GM free. The whey is filtered and dried at low temperatures, resulting in a top of the range non denatured whey protein powder. Many of the fat and lactose is removed, even as the protein and much of the calcium and other beneficial nutrients are retained.
The welfare of cows and other farm animals is extremely important to us, so along with maintaining high standards of animal welfare on the subject of sourcing our whey, we’re also giving 25p to Compassion in World Farming for every pack, helping to toughen welfare standards for cows and other farm animals in the UK and around the world.

We’ve now had our Organic Whey Protein tested for heavy metals and the results are as follows:
Cadmium: <0.005
Lead: <0.01
Arsenic: <0.01
Mercury: <0.001
These are the lowest detectable levels our lab (or indeed any lab we contacted) was able to test for. For example the Cadmium test result tells us that none was detected at the lowest testing level of 0.005 mg/kg. So therefore we know that there is less than 0.005 mg/kg. These results compare favourably with heavy metals testing carried out on other protein powders in the marketplace, in truth we were unable to find results from any other protein powders that were more favourable these, which is great news.
