The big supermarkets have all revealed their Christmas adverts for 2019 featuring a line-up of festive foods and treats. This year Morrisons decided to do something different. Instead of a big showy ad campaign for the festive period, they chose to focus on how their staff are helping fight food waste. The pair, known as Community Champions, wrote the script as well as starring in and directing the advert. The film shows Abbott and Kelly delivering food from the supermarket, including...

Cattle Farmers Left Frustrated at Plant-Based Meat Alternatives

Plant-based alternatives to meat are in serious demand as they are gradually becoming more accessible. Let's Be Ethical This Christmas

Food is an essential part of Christmas. Large dinner tables that are full to the brim are normal. Instinctively, we associate a large amount of food with a proper Christmas celebration. Everything is bought in bulk so that there’s enough for guests. Supermarket chains capitalise on this; creating deals and reducing prices so that customers are encouraged to buy in a non ethical way. We are more than likely buying without being conscious of what goes into the food and where it comes from. The Truth About Turkey People often get caught up in the traditions of Christmas. 87% of the British public are adamant that Christmas simply isn’t...
