Pantothenic acid breaks down fats, proteins and carbohydrates for energy. It regulates the function of the adrenal glands and the production of some hormones and nerve regulating substances. The vitamin also promotes good skin, hair and nail cell structures.

- Lean meat, fish and poultry
- Wholegrain cereals
