A recent article in the Mirror confirms something many of us already know some diets can make the dieter feel very average, especially when the weather is more like December than July. Staying happy and losing weight may seem like an impossible task, but the Mirror article pointed to several ways to achieve both.
For instance, stopping carbs can increase mood swings and depression . Cutting out starchy carbs could even lower levels of serotonin production. Eating zero fat can also lower cholesterol, which can lead to depression and anxiety.
The article also pointed to top mood-enhancing foods such as oily fish and magnesium. Staying active and taking regular exercise increases endorphin levels . Breakfast is also essential for staying happy, the article warned.
