Description: Dermatix Silicone Gel is a self-drying and transparent agent that looks after reducing hypertrophic scars. It also helps handle moisture balance, thereby aiding the remedy of scarred skin caused by surgery, burns or injuries. The gel relieves itching and pain caused by scar. It may be applied to difficult areas of the body, such as the joints, face and flexures.
Direction of Use:
- Clean the affected area with soapy water and pat dry
- Spread a thin layer of the gel over the affected part
- Let it be for 5 minutes and then cover with dressing
- Use a minimum of twice day by day for two months to notice improvement
Side Effects and Precautions:
- It must not be applied on open wounds or broken skin
- Carefully apply the gel; do not let it encounter your eyes or mouth
- The gel may stain your clothing, so you’ll want to keep the part open for few minutes
- Immediately consult doctor in case of any skin rash
